Join us as we gather weekly in-person at 918 Division Ave, Tacoma, WA 98403. We gather at 4:00pm in Resurrection Church’s building to worship and celebrate the resurrected Jesus, to learn from God's Word, to encourage each other towards spiritual formation in community and to be sent out by the Spirit to show and share the gospel in our city.

Street parking on surrounding streets is readily available on Sundays. See areas marked in green on the map. Please do not park in the First Church of Christ Scientist parking lot.

current sermon series

The parables of Jesus make up 30% of Jesus’ recorded teachings. They are not simply punchy stories with a moral message. They are Jesus’ commentary on the Kingdom of God he is ushering in. They both describe and actually produce the “in-breaking kingdom” and they invite us to ask, not just “what would Jesus do?” but also “what would Jesus imagine?”

missional communities

A missional community is a small group of disciples devoted to living out their identity as a family of servant missionaries, to dependence on the Spirit in each season, and to engagement in resilient rhythms of formation in the everyday stuff of life.

As God’s people we are the church every day of the week, so we not only gather together on Sundays as a larger family, we meet and seek to do life together throughout the week in Missional Communities (MCs).

The goal of an MC is to make disciples: apprentices and worshipers of Jesus who live out their gospel identity by increasingly being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus does.
